I cut my food bill in half today.

Today I went to a bulk food store and just bought things that we will be able to use in bulk.  Cheese was in two pound packages – so that is easy to use.  The frozen strawberries looked better than the fresh, had no additives, and were  a great price.  Deluxe toilet paper (unscented and soft, 2-ply) was also about 50% of the cost at the grocery stores. This is a good chain called GFS Marketplace.  The store was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was no annual fee like some of the competition.  I actually think I will be able to get my food bill at pre-2007 prices by just planning out ahead what I can buy in bulk.
